Yesterday at O'Hare International Airport 18 heads were found in a crate that was discovered through routine x-ray scans. The heads were used in Italy for medical testing and were sent to Illinois to be cremated. Apparently having body parts in crates is not an unusual thing at airports. "Just last we transported eight heads to Rush University Medical center for an ophthalmology program," said Paul Dudek. Paul is the vice president of the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois, that supplies body parts to medical students in the state for students. He also said that last week they sent a large shipment of rains to the University of Texas in Austin via UPS. They send 450 whole corpses to medical students each year either by air or more regularly by delivery trucks. A lot of questions were raised about why the hold up, where the shipment came from, where it was headed and why. But it was all cleared up and the hold up was due to the mix up of paper work. These crates and transfers require tons of paper work because there is a black market for these shipments.
